ALIN : ASIA LEGAL INFORMATION NETWORK

     As the most important educational institution in Taiwan, National Taiwan University has trained lots of top staffs and research workers in every field since 1928. Being indispensable part of this school, College of Law has had a great success in educating legal workers such as professor and researcher of law, judge, procurator, and lawyer. Beside all above, there're also many graduates diving themselves into the other fields. They become councilor, official, or the backbones of all trades and professions. Graduates from College of Law, NTU play the role of advancing Taiwan's progress and democratization. Thus, graduates from College of Law are the most invaluable assets of Taiwan's society, and College of Law unceasingly acts as most significant essential for jurisprudence and legal education of Taiwan. Although education is a very important part of our works, College of Law pays equal, even more, attention to the research on legislation and jurisprudence.

     We have lots academic cooperative research with many government or non-government organizations. For example, in 2004, our full time teacher had total 44 research projects cooperated with government organizations in different law fields, and the total budget is about million us dollar. Beside all above, our teacher still have lots other research project. Also, we held many conferences by the name of our college, research center, or cooperation with other institutions.
