※ Establishment of Human and Material Network
The establishment of a human and material network through which Asian legal information-related institutions or organizations are able to exchange their legal information and related knowledge as well as to cooperate with each other:
○ Establishment of a system for Asian countries' joint participation and cooperation in projects or conferences related to laws;
○ Construction of a foundation for Asian legal information-related institutions' common use of results of seminars or conferences as separately held by each of them;
○ Foundation of any concrete base of human and material exchanges through an network among the related parties of the Asia Legal Information Network; and
○ Conclusion of arrangements for the purpose of continuing exchanges and cooperation among legal information-related institutions of Asian countries.
※ Creation of Database Hub of Legal Information
The creation of an online database of statutes, cases, Official Gazettes and any other legal information of Asian countries which will be freely available to Asian legal information-related institutions or organizations:
○ Establishment and management of ALIN Homepage( ) through which legal information held by each of the Partners is available to all of them;
○ Provision of electronic data in English or any other relevant language on legal information of Asian countries through web links where searching either in English or in any other relevant language is possible, and a real-time translation service will be provided on yearly basis; and
○ Provision of systematically collected legal information of each Asian country as pertinent data for investment and research with respect to that country.
※ Promotion of Research on Laws
The promotion of research and conferences in relation to laws of Asian countries or regions:
○ The promotion of research and conferences in relation to laws of Asian countries:
○ Promotion of research on major laws or legal systems of Asian countries;
○ Role of hub in collecting and researching legal information of Asian countries by providing their major laws which are translated into English or any other relevant language and analyzed systematically to the Government, public institutions, enterprises, universities and colleges, and the general public of each of them; and
○ Conduct of regional research on laws or legal systems of Asian countries through international academic conferences and joint research.
※ Assistance for Improvement Projects of Laws and Education Program
The establishment of a cooperative system for mutual assistance for legal education and improvement projects of laws among Asian countries:
○ Supplement of legal information required by any Asian country and the establishment of assistance system for the improvement or reform of laws;
○ Mutual cooperation and assistance in improvement projects of laws as well as in related education programs among Asian countries will be promoted; and
○ If the provision of legal information or related research results are requested, such request shall be granted.
